March’s Monthly Classical Concert invites audiences into the warm, rhythmic and timeless world of Spanish guitar music.
Rooted in centuries of history, the Spanish guitar repertoire reflects a rich blend of courtly elegance, folk traditions and deeply human emotion. From intimate melodies to vibrant dance rhythms, it captures the spirit of Spain. Expressive, passionate and unmistakably alive.
This recital features notable works by Spanish masters Isaac Albéniz, Francisco Tárrega, Miguel Llobet and Leo Brouwer, whose music bridges tradition and modern expression while preserving the guitar’s intimate voice.
Expressively performed by Tran Quang Huy of the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music, this engaging guitar recital promises an evening of warmth, colour, and emotional immediacy.
