Award in Wines L1

The WSET Level 1 Award in Wines will be held in Phnom Penh on 31st July 2026.

The Cambodia Sommelier Association (CSA), in partnership with Wine & Spirit IQ, is pleased to announce the WSET Level 1 Award in Wines.

This introductory qualification is ideal for individuals with little to no prior wine knowledge and is particularly beneficial for professionals in the retail and hospitality sectors seeking to build confidence and foundational expertise.

• The main styles of wine

• Characteristics of common grape varieties

• Proper wine storage and service practices

• Principles of food and wine pairing

• How to describe wine using the WSET Level 1 Systematic Approach to Tasting (SAT)

*Full prepayment is required by the registration deadline on 15th July to secure your place. There are no formal entry requirements. Participants who are under the legal drinking age or who choose not to consume alcohol for health or religious reasons may complete the course without tasting the wines.

**Wine & Spirit IQ is the official course provider. The Cambodia Sommelier Association facilitates the training and collects payment on behalf of the provider.
