The Airport Services Manager at Emirates oversees all airport operations, ensuring safety, efficiency and service excellence.

The role involves leading teams to uphold the company’s operational standards while optimising passenger experience.

Department/Function: Operations & General Management (Production, Supply Chain, Logistics, Facilities)

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage safe, efficient and cost-effective airport operations in line with company policies and procedures.

  • Ensure passenger service standards and operational KPIs are achieved and maintained.

  • Liaise with handling agents and service providers to identify and resolve operational issues.

  • Oversee safety and security measures for aircraft, passengers, baggage and staff.

  • Lead, guide and develop airport staff to maintain discipline, motivation and service quality.

  • Review local emergency, disruption and diversion procedures to ensure preparedness.

  • Represent Emirates at airport forums, government meetings and industry committees.


Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.

  • Minimum 8 years' experience in airport operations or related functions.

  • Proven track record in airport management and passenger handling at a managerial level.

  • Strong understanding of flight planning, meteorology and ground handling procedures.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and computerised airline systems.

  • Fluent in spoken and written English and the local language.

  • Ability to perform under pressure with sound judgement and initiative.
