Cambodia: $6,000 – $8,000

Senior actuarial roles are among the highest-paid in the Cambodian financial sector, driven by demand for IFRS 17 specialists and limited domestic talent supply.

Few locally based actuarial positions exist, with most analytics functions supported from Thailand or Vietnam, keeping salaries moderate.

Myanmar: $3,500 – $5,000

The insurance market remains nascent; most actuarial expertise is contracted regionally, though demand is gradually increasing.

Thailand: $7,000 – $10,000

Bangkok’s mature life-insurance sector offers robust packages for certified actuaries with strong financial-modelling skills.

Vietnam: $6,500 – $9,000

IFRS 17 adoption and rapid insurance expansion continue to push salary levels upward for senior actuarial professionals.
