The Director of Sales & Marketing at Crowne Plaza Phnom Penh will lead all sales, marketing and brand positioning initiatives for the hotel as it rebrands under the IHG Hotels & Resorts portfolio.

This role is pivotal in driving occupancy, revenue and guest engagement in both business and leisure markets.

The successful candidate will build a strong commercial strategy to position the property as one of Phnom Penh’s premier hospitality destinations.


Department/Function: Sales & Business Development (B2B/B2C Sales, Key Account Management, Client Acquisition)

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to maximise hotel revenue and brand awareness.

  • Lead, motivate and manage the sales and marketing team to deliver exceptional performance.

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with corporate clients, travel agents and key market partners.

  • Oversee digital marketing, advertising, PR campaigns and event sponsorships to ensure consistent brand messaging.

  • Collaborate with IHG regional and global teams to align brand standards and marketing activities.

  • Analyse market trends, competitor performance and customer feedback to inform strategy.

  • Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows and networking functions to enhance visibility.


Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • A degree in marketing, business administration or hospitality management.

  • Extensive experience in hotel sales and marketing, including leadership at a comparable property.

  • Proven record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets within international hotel brands.

  • Strong understanding of brand positioning and market segmentation in hospitality.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including English.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital marketing tools; IHG systems are an advantage.

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
