The General Manager role is a senior leadership position responsible for the successful ongoing operations of a branded economy hotel.
The position is based at Accor’s Ibis budget Phnom Penh Riverside and focuses on commercial performance, operational excellence and guest experience.
The role requires strong leadership capability to deliver results for guests, employees, owners and the wider group.
Department/Function: Operations & General Management (Production, Supply Chain, Logistics, Facilities)
Key Responsibilities
Build a high-performing, guest-focused hotel team aligned with the critical pre-opening timeline.
Set and execute the commercial strategy to ensure the hotel opens on time with strong forward bookings.
Identify opportunities to optimise hotel visibility and market positioning.
Manage hotel operations to maximise profitability and deliver superior guest experiences.
Foster a performance-driven culture aligned with the objectives of guests, employees, owners and the group.
Skills & Experience
A relevant degree in hospitality management or equivalent professional qualification.
At least 2 years' experience as a general manager or hotel manager in midscale or economy hotels in Southeast Asia.
Demonstrated track record in leading dynamic teams with an enabling and collaborative leadership style.
Strong operational acumen balancing commercial performance and service quality, with proven capability in delivering projects and managing full hotel operations.
Fluency in English, with local language skills considered an advantage.
