The Head of IT role at CMED Group is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing technology systems and IT strategies across the organisation’s diverse business units.

This position ensures systems integration, stable infrastructure operations and alignment of technical solutions with business objectives.

The role works closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver scalable and secure technology services.

Department/Function: Information Technology (IT) (IT Support, Infrastructure, Networking, Systems Administration)


Key Responsibilities

  • Work with internal business associates to understand technology needs and recommend appropriate investments.

  • Create documentation to capture business requirements and translate them into technology plans and budgets.

  • Review vendor products and services to ensure all systems integrate effectively and projects transition successfully to operational status.

  • Manage the IT System & Network Administration team and the IT Tech Support team to ensure IT systems operate efficiently and user needs are addressed promptly.

  • Develop and implement policies, procedures and processes for network hardware and software acquisition, support, security and backup.


Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum 7 years' experience in IT management with demonstrated leadership responsibilities.

  • Proven track record in enterprise IT infrastructure, systems administration and network architecture.

  • Strong technical expertise in Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange 2013, firewall technologies, VPN configurations and enterprise backup systems.

  • Excellent ability to communicate technical information clearly to a range of stakeholders.

Salary Benchmark

USD $3,000 to $4,500 per month, depending on experience*
