Regional Comparison

Cambodia: $3,000 – $3,800

Compensation reflects the premium multinational positioning of AIA Cambodia, with bilingual insurance training leaders in high demand.

Laos: $2,200 – $3,200

Packages are smaller due to a limited insurance market and reduced presence of international carriers, though leadership positions can still command above-average pay.

Myanmar: $1,800 – $2,800

Economic instability constrains salary levels, but experienced training professionals remain valued, especially by foreign insurers.

Thailand: $3,800 – $6,000

A mature life insurance industry and higher cost of living drive stronger remuneration packages for academy heads and senior training managers.

Vietnam: $3,200 – $5,200

Rapid expansion of life and health insurance distribution creates competitive compensation, with multinational firms offering attractive packages for training leaders.
