Regional Comparison
Cambodia: $2,800 – $4,200
Multinational firms in financial services and insurance push salaries above the domestic average, especially for candidates with compensation and benefits expertise.
Laos: $2,000 – $3,000
The smaller talent pool and fewer multinational headquarters constrain salaries, even at management level.
Myanmar: $2,000 – $3,000
Political instability and limited foreign investment reduce competitiveness, though multinational firms maintain relatively stronger offers.
Thailand: $4,000 – $6,000
Bangkok’s mature financial services sector and presence of regional HQs drive significantly higher compensation for HR managers with C&B and HRIS expertise.
Vietnam: $3,200 – $4,600
Rapid expansion in financial services and insurance creates demand for HR leaders, pushing salaries upwards in major hubs like Ho Chi Minh City.
