Fairfield by Marriott Phnom Penh is offering an internship opportunity in its Human Resources department for current college or university students seeking to build on their academic studies with hands-on experience in hotel operations.
This programme provides an immersive introduction to the hospitality industry, allowing participants to work closely with professionals and gain valuable insight into hotel management.
Interns will be exposed to Marriott’s renowned culture, service standards and operational processes, preparing them for future career opportunities in the global travel and hospitality sector.
Responsibilities
Support the Human Resources team with day-to-day administrative tasks.
Assist in maintaining accurate employee records and documentation.
Help coordinate recruitment activities, including job postings and interview scheduling.
Contribute to employee engagement and training initiatives.
Participate in organising staff events and recognition programmes.
Provide support in implementing HR policies and procedures.
Assist in the preparation of HR-related reports and presentations.
Respond to general HR-related enquiries from employees.
Eligibility
Must be a current college or university student pursuing a degree in a relevant discipline.
Strong interest in human resources and hospitality.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a team-orientated environment.
Strong communication skills in Khmer and English.
Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
