The Learning and Development Intern will support the Talent and Organisational Development team by providing administrative assistance across learning initiatives, talent development, engagement programmes and employee experience activities.
The role includes managing and administering data, systems and project activities to ensure the smooth delivery of initiatives.
By contributing to a positive work environment and supporting stakeholder coordination, the intern helps enhance the employee experience and strengthen Smart’s position as an employer of choice.
Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to the Talent and Organisational Development (OD) team, contributing to learning initiatives, talent development programmes and engagement activities.
Prepare and manage learning and development reports, ensuring timely and accurate submission to department heads.
Assist with the daily operations of the L&D and Talent teams, coordinating activities, liaising with employees, and supporting team initiatives.
Administer learning platforms and systems, including generating reports, updating learning journeys, and maintaining accurate records.
Support operational processes and workflows, providing information and assistance to internal teams as required.
Execute assigned projects and ad hoc tasks to support the Talent and OD team’s objectives.
Eligibility
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or a related field.
General understanding of HR management and development concepts.
Basic knowledge of programme management, data analysis and execution.
Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and experience using digital platforms and systems.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Khmer.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships across the organisation.
Skilled in planning, organising and time management for programmes and projects.
Proactive and creative, with the ability to generate and present professional ideas.
Passion for working with data, systems and diverse stakeholders.
Demonstrate a growth mindset and enthusiasm for continuous learning and development.
