Confluences Ventures, part of Confluences, is seeking a motivated and ambitious M&A and Investment Analyst Intern to support its growing operations in Cambodia and the Greater Mekong Subregion.
Established in 2015, the firm has developed a strong reputation for connecting companies and investors to dynamic opportunities in Southeast Asia.
This 6-month internship offers hands-on experience in investment analysis, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic market research, with the opportunity to contribute directly to client projects and internal initiatives.
Responsibilities
Support the assessment and execution of investment and M&A opportunities.
Build investment-ready presentations, pitch decks and information memoranda for internal and external stakeholders.
Conduct financial modelling, valuations and market research to support strategic decisions.
Collaborate closely with the in-charge leader and head of department.
Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure successful project implementation.
Stay updated with industry trends, economic conditions and regulatory changes impacting investments.
Eligibility
Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master’s degree in business, economics, finance or related fields.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in English is required; French, Chinese or Khmer would be a plus.
Knowledge in financial modelling and valuation techniques is a plus.
Personality: integrity, respect and a sense of responsibility; organised, highly reactive and adaptable, committed, result-orientated and with good team spirit.
