The Manager, Custodian Service Office at Foreign Trade Bank of Cambodia is responsible for overseeing the establishment and management of the bank’s custodian and trust service functions.

This includes ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, building strong client relationships, and promoting cross-selling opportunities to enhance profitability.

The role demands a strategic, customer-focused leader with deep expertise in custody operations, asset management and financial service development.


Department/Function: Finance & Accounting (Budgeting, Auditing, Treasury, Tax, Payroll)

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee the establishment and management of custodian and trust services, including escrow transactions and asset safekeeping.

  • Handle customers’ trading services such as trade settlement, cash management and dividend or interest collection with accuracy and compliance.

  • Collaborate with the Securities and Exchange Regulator of Cambodia and the National Bank of Cambodia to secure and maintain custodian licences.

  • Build and maintain a diversified network of individual and corporate investors, driving service utilisation and client satisfaction.

  • Conduct training and coaching sessions for internal teams to enhance product knowledge and promote cross-sales opportunities.

  • Manage trust and escrow transactions in coordination with sales, operations and finance departments.

  • Develop and implement policies, guidelines and procedures to ensure efficiency, accuracy and compliance in all custodian and trust operations.


Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in banking and finance or a related field.

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in the financial sector, particularly in custodian or trust services.

  • At least 2 years’ experience in customer-facing roles managing escrow or custodian transactions.

  • Proven track record in deal structuring, client acquisition and relationship management.

  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and relevant financial service frameworks.

  • Demonstrated skill in developing frameworks, processes and procedures for operational improvement.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
