Regional Comparison

Cambodia: $1,300 – $2,300

Reflects moderate inflation adjustment and ongoing competition for trilingual Korean managers in manufacturing and trading sectors.

Laos: $1,000 – $1,800

Lower wage structures and limited multinational activity constrain salary progression despite similar bilingual demands.

Myanmar: $900 – $1,600

Economic instability and reduced foreign investment keep salaries below regional averages, though Korean firms maintain a small hiring footprint.

Thailand: $2,200 – $3,600

A mature Korean corporate presence in Bangkok and industrial zones sustains higher remuneration and benefits packages.

Vietnam: $1,800 – $3,200

Strong demand from electronics and automotive sectors, coupled with a large Korean expatriate network, keeps salaries regionally competitive.
