Regional Comparison
Cambodia: $2,500 – $4,200
Brand-side roles in Phnom Penh typically sit above local factory benchmarks for production managers, especially with 5+ years’ experience and English-led stakeholder work.
Laos: $1,800 – $3,200
Factory-side data suggests a modest band in LAK for production managers; brand-side or export-orientated sites at Vientiane/Savannakhet trend to the top of this range.
Myanmar: $1,600 – $3,000
Country risk and FX constraints pull medians down, but experienced managers in larger FMCG/textile plants or with MNC exposure still clear the lower local survey bands.
Thailand: $3,500 – $6,000
Mid- to senior-level manufacturing managers in Thailand’s mature supplier base command higher totals, with salary guides consistently indicating stronger compensation.
Vietnam: $3,000 – $5,000
Robust demand in footwear/garment clusters (HCMC, Dong Nai, Binh Duong) keeps brand-side manufacturing management above general plant averages.
