The Operations Manager role is a senior leadership position responsible for driving operational excellence and performance outcomes.
Avery Dennison RBIS seeks a results-driven leader to oversee manufacturing operations, continuous improvement initiatives and people development.
The role plays a critical part in ensuring safety, quality, efficiency and strategic execution across site operations.
Department/Function: Operations & General Management (Production, Supply Chain, Logistics, Facilities)
Key Responsibilities
Take responsibility for operational results, driving execution of site improvement plans and ensuring priorities, resources and accountabilities are clearly defined.
Lead and deliver major projects and continuous improvement initiatives, including planning, scheduling, budgeting and performance control.
Design and implement operational improvement strategies covering safety, cost, quality, training, inventory and service delivery.
Ensure full compliance with health, safety, legal, legislative and corporate requirements, promoting a strong safety-first culture.
Develop, lead and manage manufacturing teams to meet site goals, including performance management, talent development and succession planning.
Skills & Experience
A recognised university degree in industrial engineering or a related field.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in operations or manufacturing environments, including at least 3 years' manufacturing leadership exposure.
Demonstrated track record in leading teams, managing change and delivering operational improvement results.
Strong understanding of modern manufacturing systems, continuous improvement methodologies and financial drivers within operations.
High proficiency in English; Chinese speaking preferred.
