The Radio Executive Producer at the Women’s Media Centre of Cambodia oversees the production of educational, informative and entertaining radio programmes that promote women’s rights and social awareness.
The position involves managing programme quality, team coordination and the delivery of impactful content aligned with the organisation’s mission.
This role is suited to an experienced media professional committed to advancing gender equality and effective communication through media.
Department/Function: Marketing, Branding & Communications (Digital Marketing, PR, Events, Market Research, Creative)
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Lead meetings and discussions to determine programme message, format and style, providing guidance to improve production quality.
Direct and produce radio content, including talk shows, radio magazines, dramas, reports and interviews.
Supervise and provide feedback on national and special programmes to ensure consistency and impact.
Edit sound, install radio programmes and design accompanying promotional materials for social media.
Manage radio technical teams, including programmers, operators and technicians.
Monitor production budgets and report expenses to the production supervisor.
Liaise with project coordinators, marketing teams and partners to deliver effective radio programming and outreach.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in media, journalism, social studies or law.
Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in radio production or media management.
Demonstrated track record of leadership in radio production and content development.
Strong understanding of gender issues and women’s empowerment.
Proven ability to manage teams and coordinate multi-stakeholder projects effectively.
Excellent communication skills in English and Khmer.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital audio editing software.
