Regional Comparison

Cambodia: $2,200 – $3,600

Compensation is competitive for Phnom Penh, positioned to attract candidates with regional coverage experience in education recruitment.

Laos: $1,600 – $2,600

Smaller education networks and fewer multinational players keep salary levels lower than in Cambodia, though regional responsibility adds weight.

Myanmar: $1,800 – $2,800

Political and economic volatility suppresses overall pay levels, yet international organisations maintain competitive packages to retain talent.

Thailand: $3,200 – $4,600

A mature international education market with large agent networks supports higher salaries, reflecting strong demand for regional managers.

Vietnam: $2,600 – $4,200

Robust study-abroad demand and heavy competition among providers drive compensation above Cambodia, though still below Thailand.
