The Sales & Business Development Manager at Avery Dennison drives the company’s growth through identifying and managing new business opportunities across regional markets.

Department/Function: Sales & Business Development (B2B/B2C Sales, Key Account Management, Client Acquisition)

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Identify, assess and manage new programmes and business opportunities leading to successful commercialisation.

  • Collaborate with customers to identify unmet needs and propose initiatives to address them.

  • Drive profit growth and ensure alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.

  • Conduct opportunity analysis and execute business development plans, including evaluation of new ventures.

  • Analyse business and trade data to design reports and provide actionable insights for sales teams.

  • Support formulation and review of sales targets, monitoring achievement through established processes.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects by reviewing systems and providing analytical input.


Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related field.

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in business development, sales or product management.

  • Proven track record of driving business growth and developing new markets.

  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to perform ROI analysis and interpret data effectively.

  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills with cross-cultural understanding.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications.

  • Fluency in English and Chinese, both spoken and written.
