Regional Comparison
Cambodia: $3,200 – $4,800
Slightly below Thailand due to a lower cost base and developing manufacturing ecosystem, though multinational brands sustain competitive upper-tier salaries.
Laos: $2,500 – $4,000
The market is smaller with fewer Tier-1 suppliers; senior QA leaders are often hired on regional packages, creating a modest discount to Cambodia.
Myanmar: $2,800 – $4,500
Political-economic risk depresses local benchmarks but multinationals still pay a risk-adjusted premium for experienced QA managers able to run compliance and audits.
Thailand: $3,500 – $5,000
A more mature manufacturing environment and a deeper QA talent pool drive slightly higher pay for senior-level quality managers in the apparel sector.
Vietnam: $3,200 – $5,200
High apparel concentration and active multinational demand; benchmark guides and brand-side senior-manager data support an upper-mid range for seasoned QA leaders.
