Regional Comparison
Cambodia: $1,800 – $2,600
Compensation reflects the growing sophistication of property and facilities management in Phnom Penh, with international firms setting benchmarks slightly above local competitors.
Laos: $1,200 – $1,800
Lower cost of living and smaller-scale commercial real estate mean salaries trail behind Cambodia, with fewer large property portfolios under management.
Myanmar: $1,400 – $2,200
Despite market volatility, technical managers in Yangon earn slightly more than in Laos due to a larger urban commercial base, though still below Cambodia.
Thailand: $2,500 – $3,800
Bangkok’s established real estate and facilities sector drives stronger demand for technical managers, pushing salaries well above Cambodia.
Vietnam: $2,200 – $3,400
Rapid urbanisation and a competitive property services market in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi ensure technical managers are well compensated, slightly above Phnom Penh.
