The General Manager, Cambodia will lead the country operations and overall strategy for Foodpanda in Cambodia.

This role is pivotal in shaping the company’s presence and competitive growth in the fast-expanding food delivery and e-commerce ecosystem.

The successful candidate will oversee leadership, commercial growth, operations and external stakeholder engagement.


Department/Function: Executive Leadership & Strategy (CEO, Board of Directors, Strategic Planning)

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership for the Cambodia business.

  • Own and deliver on the P&L to ensure sustainable growth and profitability.

  • Translate regional and global strategies into effective local execution.

  • Build and lead a strong senior leadership team across all functions.

  • Define and implement strategies to grow market share, order volume and customer base.

  • Drive partnerships, sales and pricing strategies to strengthen competitive positioning.

  • Oversee daily operations to ensure high service levels and efficiency.

  • Monitor business performance through data-driven KPIs, forecasting and reporting.

  • Represent the organisation with government, regulators and external partners.

  • Ensure full compliance with Cambodian laws and regulations.


Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • A degree in business, management, economics or a related field.

  • Minimum 12 years’ experience in leadership roles, with at least part of this in Cambodia.

  • Proven track record of P&L ownership and successfully scaling teams or businesses.

  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to execute market growth strategies.

  • Demonstrated experience in e-commerce or other consumer-focused industries.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills with government and business leaders.

  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Additional proficiency in Khmer is considered an advantage but is not required.

  • Resilient, data-driven leader with the ability to thrive in dynamic environments.

  • Ability to build and inspire high-performing teams.
